
Kristīne Gailīte graduated from Latvian Music Academy, vocal
department under Lilija Zilvere (1998) and has received master
degree in the vocal department under prof. Anita Garanča (2003).
Kristine Gailite has been training her vocal skills in different master
classes of prof. Alessandro Pagliazzi in Kristiansann, Norway (2004)
and KS Olivera Miljakovič in Vienna (2008).
Since 1998 K. Gailīte is a soloist of Latvian National Opera.
Together with the Opera she has been touring in Taiwan, Finland and
Mexico. As a guest soloist she has been performing in Savonlinna
Opera Festival in 2005 (Olympia in J.Offenbach The Tales of
Hoffmann) in 2006 she had debut in Moscow Bolshoi Theatre as a N
Queen of the Night in „The Magic Flute” by W.A.Mozart (conductor
Thomas Sanderling). In 2008 she sung Gilda in a premiere of
Rigoletto by G. Verdi in Estonian National Opera(conductor Arvo
Volmer).
Kristīne Gailīte has performed together with Latvian National
Symphony Orchestra, Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonietta
Rīga; with Estonian National Symphony Orchestra under the
guidance of conductor Nikolay Alekseyev and Olari Elts; with
Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra and conductor Gintaras
Rinkevičius.
As a concert singer Kristīne Gailīte has participated in numbers of
performances, such as „Johanness Passion” „Messa h-moll” by J.S.
Bach, „Die Schopfung” by J.Haydn, „Requiem”, „C-moll Mass” and
„Kronungsmass” by W.A.Mozart, „Deutsches Requiem” by J. Brahms,
„Mass” by L. Bernstein etc.
K. Gailīte has staged several chamber music programs.

In 2004 was released the solo album of Kristīne Gailīte. She is a
laureate of International singers competition of Jāzeps Vītols
(Riga,1995) and semifinalist of the competition Competizione
dell'Opera (Dresden,2001), laureate of Latvian Great Music Award
